FIRST JOURNAL OF '09 LOL

Gawd!! It's been ages since I last made a journal. I still log in here most days and check my messages believe it or not. XD

So whats been happening? Just the usual, school and of course I'm still having the Japanese classes. ^_^

Went to the Telford expo last Saturday, saw some good and just plain amusing cosplays, heheh. Didn't really buy much there though I have to say out of all the stalls, the one with all the Final Fantasy, anime soundtracks and random J-Rock CDs really caught my eye - too bad they were so expensive...

Tis also my birthday on Monday! And I'm going to be 17... which means part from getting older I'll be able to drive. 8D I sent off for my provisional licence and I got it back during the Half term holidays. So now it's just a matter of waiting until I actually turn 17 now. *twiddles thumbs*

Oh, and I random did a drawing the other day omg. I just wish I could scan the damn thing. Saying that I have done several drawings since I last made a journal. I sooo wish I could just upload them to save my gallery from looking so pitiful...

Honestly, when I turned 18 I didn't really feel any difference at all. It simply felt like an ordinary birthday party with the usual cake and sweets.
I guess it all depends on what kind of social environment you're living in.

Perhaps, but I'm guessing it's just the thought of becoming 18 more than anything and the connotations of becoming an adult. Though I seriously doubt I'll feel like it.

Not that it really bothers me anyway. XD;; Still got a while to go yet.

On the bright side, you turning 18 will make me feel even more comfortable of talking to you. People wouldn't think of me as some "pedophilic internet loser".
Seriously, I wish that people didn't pay so much attention to age differences and crap like that.
